Summer Jell-O Salads

LEMON JELLO SALAD WITH TOPPING
2 packages lemon jello
2 C ginger ale
2 C boiling water
20-oz can crushed pineapple, drained, juice reserved for Topping (below)
3 bananas, sliced
1 c mini marshmallows
Topping
Dissolve jello in boiling water and ginger ale. Add pineapple and marshmallows, and refrigerate. When jello has set, top with bananas. Add cooled Topping to jello.
TOPPING
2 Tbsp flour
½ C sugar
1 egg
Reserved juice from crushed pineapple (above)
1 Tbsp butter
Cook together ingredients until thick. Cool.
