Ira Gershwin wrote the lyrics for the song
'Love is here to stay'
as a tribute to his brother George
who died on July 11, 1937.

The opening words are
'It's very clear,
our love is here to stay.
Not for a year, but ever and a day.'

It seems that Covid-19 and its effects
are here to stay.
They are things we will have to learn to live with,
and there are extreme weather troubles ahead.

So it's very clear that
a little humour will always be needed.
I'll try to send you some
on Mondays and Fridays
at 7.00am.
