Hi everyone! How are you? I hope this day finds you well and that things are going your way . So guys, last night my mum had the idea of having a spa/pamper day today so I thought it'd be a fun idea to document it!! I'm going to take you through the stages of my pamper day one step at a time. It didn't start at the beginning of the day, in the morning my sister and I went to Starbucks and I got their pumpkin spice chai latte (it's not properly out yet but if you have the app like my sister does then you can get it early so do that!!). We then had a look around tkmaxx of course before returning home whereupon my spa day commenced! Starting with....
Skincare
My skins breaking out at the moment, like not zits but really dry sore patches on my face which isn't cool so I decided to do something about it! I have a medicated cream that works wonders but I'm not actually allowed to put it on my face . On a good day I have a six step skincare routine that helps using...
Procoal activated face scrub, milk cleansing foam, Pixi rose caviar essence, clinicals by spascriptions glowing facial oil, oasis 7 hyaluronic acid serum and nivea 24hr moisture day cream with spf 15.
A bath
I got this rainbow cloud bath bomb a while back (I'm guessing it was either from The Range or Home Bargains ) and I have been so excited to use it to see if it actually works . So let's put it to the test!
It was so cool!!
I also used this raspberry fizz soap sponge from Heavenly melts and a bath & shower gel + body lotion by Inis. I was smelling damn good afterwards! Here's pics of them:
These smelled so fresh and fruity!
Washing hair
I use the Lisse Keratin Therapy shampoo and conditioner since getting the Lisse Design 16 week blow dry a few months ago and although it leaves my hair smelling a bit weird it keeps my hair as frizz free as its gonna get!
Facemask and eye patches
In the evening I put on a 7th Heaven Strawberry Cream facemask (it smelled absolutely DELICIOUS, no joke), washed it off and applied aloe + cica hydrogel eye patches which are so nice and refreshing. This was so relaxing to do before bed.
Reading
I chose to read next and am adding that to this list because reading is like pampering for the mind!
I'm reading a book about Lin-Manuel Miranda and it's really inspirational! I'm going to see Hamilton next year and I can't wait but I'm going to have to .
Painting nails
I then painted my nails a khaki colour for some reason called Waiting For Westminster .
Sleep spray
My friend originally got me this sleep spray from M&S and I've restocked on it ever since! I think it makes the world of difference when it comes to feeling sleepy and settling down each night. I spritz my pillow and prepare to fall into a deep slumber .
And there we have it for my spa day! It was a bit of an all over the place post but it was fun to share so I hope you enjoyed it! I had a great spa day, it was just what the doctor ordered!
I'm intrigued, what would you do if you had a spa day?? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to check out this post! It means the world to me and I really appreciate it . I'll see you again real soon but until then, stay safe, take care and buh-bye! Xx
