daddy gave me kibble and scrambled legs for breakfast AND a strawberryberry with gertie - i just love 2 course meals - life is good!!
a few notes from dad - i really wanted to tell you about the dream i had last night about the golden retriever i met on a walk - and i'm telling you - she might be an older girl - but she was hot and her mommy gave me a belly rub but daddy wouldn't keyboard about the dream i had . . .

Thoughts on what and how much to feed YOUR little guy or gal . . .
Always check with your vet !!!!
Curtis gets just over 1/8 cup of Nutri-Source dry puppy food at about 6am - 10am - 2pm - 6pm - plus or minus every 4 hours - remember thier little tummys are little - far better to give them 4 smaller meals a day than 3 or 2 larger meals . . .
Always check with your vet !!!!
Fruits and veggies are great - the internet is your friend as far as determining what your puppy or doggo can and cannot have - again - any questions or conflicting information - check with your vet!!!
Eggs - scrambled - cooked with the tiniest bit of butter for flavor/smell and a dab of olive oil - use only as much as needed to keep the eggs from sticking in the pan - store in the fridge in an airtight container - then just take about a tablespoon or so of eggs and push them them through a fork with your thumb into the bowl - add kibble and it's just that simple . . .
Steamed chicken - a great add on - about a tablespoon chopped into tiny pieces . . .
Hamburger and rice - it makes no difference 73% - 80% - simply fry until cooked - not browned but just cooked - then thoroughly rinse under hot water - you're removing the grease - crumble and put into an airtight container in the fridge - when he gets hamburger - about a tablespoon - he also gets about a teaspoon of steamed rice with it . . .
Always check with your vet !!!!
Now fruits and veggies?
As a stand alone dessert/snack Curtis gets strawberry's - cantaloupe - apple ( peeled ) - watermelon - all chopped up in kibble sized pieces - try to think in tablespoon serving sizes! - generally with a little bit ( about 1/2 teaspoon ) of non-fat Greek yogurt mixed in - a little bit goes a long way - we are talking a dessert or snack - not a meal . . .
Broccoli - steamed just enough to sorta call it cooked - green beans - again steamed just enough to tell you made an attempt at cooking them - if you do canned green beans use no salt added and rinse multiple times to reduce the sodium levels - carrots - raw or steamed or canned - again rinse any canned veggies multiple times . . .
Always check with your vet !!!!
Doggo's have an incredible sense of smell - sense of taste? - not so much - so it's about smell and texture more than taste . . .
Any of the fruits and veggies - eggs - hamburger - if served in the kibble or as a stand alone - should be chopped up to a size no larger than the kibble . . .
Always check with your vet !!!!
Bottom line? A variety of different fruits and veggies are good for your dog - the different smells and textures keep them interested and it's actually good for them!
Always follow the advice of your vet!!
Curtis - is there anything you would like to add?
Apparently I am going to close this out for him . . .
Bye Bye everybody and send food!!
