It was Lynne's birthday on Friday night, so we joined her to celebrate this event.
As a group, we've been here many times before. It's a favourite. We've always sat around the grill. It's wonderful watching the chefs fling their tools around! I especially love watching them flick eggs at people who really think they are going to be able to catch a small piece of oily egg!
I've never ever tried because (a) I KNOW I'd fail and (b) more importantly, I don't want oil marks dribbled down my front.
The only downside to sitting around the grill is that it makes conversation around the "table" impossible.
The food is always delicious and fresh. I usually choose chicken teppanyaki, but this time I chose prawns.
They were tasty, but I won't choose them again because they had a type of mayo on them that didn't really work with the prawns. The miso soup (yum) came first, followed by stir-fried vegetables and rice. The wasabi sauce was delicious.
