Prior to this appointment, she served as a case manager with Ohio MENTOR for two years. Moreover, she has been active as a certified nursing assistant since 1983, a licensed practical nurse through Pinellas Vocational Technical Institute since 1986, a registered nurse through St. Petersburg College since 1990 and a former unit clerk.
To support her career, Ms. Hill pursued an education at Youngstown State University, from which she obtained a Bachelor of Social Work in 2017 and a Master of Social Work in 2019. Notably, she was presented with scholarships from Phi Alpha Kappa and the Professional Educators Association in light of her stellar academic performance and community services. She has attributed her success to her self-confidence and the influence of her employers throughout her medical career. Proud of her academic accomplishments while simultaneously working as a nurse and a mother, Ms. Hill hopes to continue focusing on her efforts as a foster mother and an agent of positive change in the field of social work.
