I will begin by saying, "This is not a blog post that is intended to insult people for using Microsoft Windows but to understand the reasons why they use it."
Those of you who have been following Renard's World for quite some time would know that I use Linux for all of my computing tasks and that I would not be caught dead using any version of Microsoft Windows.
As a matter of fact, we Linux users (the hardcore ones) use Linux because:
- It respects our privacy.
- It is free for anyone to use.
- It is not as resource intensive as Microsoft Windows or macOS.
- The software repositories within most Linux distributions contain lots of free and open-source software.
- It is highly compatible with a lot of computer hardware.
Okay, enough about us Linux users.
