Hello you and hi to July too! How are you doing today? (Putting those emojis there makes me think of LOADS of sunflowers swaying gently in a field so try to picture that , it'll set a calming tone for an excitable post ). I was recently nominated by the lovely Sophia over at A Teen Girl With Thoughts to do The Remarkable Blogger Tag and I was so happy to be thought of and asked by a blogger who's posts I enjoy reading . Thank you to Sophia for the surprise, you guys should for sure head on over and check out their blog . Also, cheers to Simply Selena for creating this tag in the first place . All the stages that led to this moment have me feeling happy to be a part of it as tags are always fun to do so let this one commence!

Something Unique About Me:
Why does it have to be difficult to think of something , the most recent thing that comes to mind is that I can apparently hold eye contact for a long time! I was trying to prove a point the other day and a stand-off commenced where I won the staring contest and kept on going because I was surprised it was even happening . So yeah, I'll go with that! It could have been a momentary thing tho so my answer is kinda limited .
Answering Sophia's Questions:
1. What is the last post idea you had?
To share what shows/films I've been watching lately! I've found some real gems and I mean DIAMONDS . I won't go into detail here tho as I still want to write that post!
2. What is one piece of advice you have for someone starting their own blog?
To not wait around, just go for it! I'm still shocked I bit the bullet and went for it tbh . If you keep feeling like you're not fully ready but you know that you want to do it then I think it's important to note that you might end up NEVER feeling ready because what does that even feel like when it comes to stepping out and doing something like this? You've got to go for it and everything will slip into place through wanting to give it a go in the first place . If the want is there then you're bound to create something fantastic so don't hold back. You don't need to read into things or know facts about how to make it all work, just decide on the main stuff like what platform you'll use: WordPress or blogger (ECT) and a name and then hit the start button + create an introduction post and just enjoy it. There's not always a need to look into things that may end up holding you back and take away from the real fun of it, keep that in mind whenever it gets a bit difficult too because it doesn't have to be!
3. What's the last song you listened to?
I heard a cover of As It Was and my mum shouted through and said 'is this Harry Styles' so that instantly just came into my mind . The main channel that she listens to has people singing famous songs all the time and more often than not they're way off the mark (I try to be nice but I can't do it ).
4. What's the best present you've ever received?
It's got to be the Kindle!! My sister got it for me last Christmas and it ultimately pulled me out of not having read anything for years . Right now I'm feeling that tricky again where it's not so easy to read and focus on it but I'm far ahead from where I was and I know that I'll keep on getting back into it now because I've dipped back into fictional worlds and I've got the liking for some of them .
5. What book do you recommend to everyone?
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt! And I'm not just saying that because I wrote the review, I can't not say it because it was an absolute beauty of a book! If you're looking for a feel good, cosy read packed with mystery and...well, a really smart octopus, then you're in for a treat with it (and it might have been written for you by the sounds of it ). Check out that review for the details .
6. Where would you go on your dream vacation?
Probably Italy and by probably I mean totally!
7. What is your favorite hobby (other than blogging)?
I may just be trying to get you hyped up for the upcoming blog post about what I've been watching lately and I don't know if it is actually a hobby but I love getting lost in watching shows/movies! It puts me in a good mood finding something, especially when I realize there's more than one season so I'm not going at a snail's pace in order to save them, I can watch the life out of them .
8. What is your favorite quote?
Can a lyric be a quote? I like "You can't be the one that lets me down, If I'm the only one that lets me down" from the song Wild by Dixie D'Amelio! It's a BOP . There's more than likely loads of ways to take it so don't quote me on this but I read into it as a way of being like - Only I have the strength to bring myself down as I might have collective thoughts on how to do that so no one else has the ability to successfully come at me with that one thought process they have, you know? I know life's not as simple as that but it's a hella empowering to think of things that way .
9. If you could do a collab or interview on your blog with anyone living or dead, who would you pick?
Hhmm this one's difficult! I'm not sure!! (And that's pretty mean of me because I could say family ). Umm probably Amelia Earhart because then I could get the inside scoop into what happened to her when she went missing all those years ago. It's one of those mysteries where the mind boggles over what actually happened so yeah, I'd go with that!
Moving onto the questions for my Nominee's...
My Questions
If you could live in any type of home, anywhere in the world, where would you go and what house would you choose? (Like a treehouse in New York or something! ).
What is your biggest pet peeve?
What would you tell the you that started your blog if you could go back to that day?
Is there one song out there that you think everybody should listen to?
If there were no limits in life for a day, what would you do first and last?
Have you set yourself any challenges for the year?
How many blog posts have you written so far?
Does your blog have a niche or no?
Do you have any advice for helping a blogging get out of a writers rut?
My Nominee's
Some of these bloggers have been on my radar for a while now and I've enjoyed their posts for a long time + others are new fav's so it's like a mashup of good stuff. Something important I'd like to say to them is: Know that you are in no way obligated to do this post, I just wanted to tag you and say you're it and that I low-key love your presence in the blogosphere...okay I made that weird let's just go with it:
And........YOU!! If you're reading these words and would like to give this tag a go, consider yourself nominated! It was loads of fun to do so I hope you feel the same way .
And that's that! I always leave long gaps in-between doing tags like this and then when I do them I want to change that because they're just such carefree posts to do that get you talking and thinking into things you might not have before! Anyway! Thanks again to Sophia for the tag and thank YOU for reading the post . Be sure to pick a question or two from up above and leave your answers in the comments section . Stuff like this can be a great way to get to know people more and in the blogging world that's always fun (how I separated things there shows that I'm not a social butterfly...I don't even like butterflies but oh well! ). I hope you're having a wonderful day and that this post made you smile! I'll see you again soon but until then, stay safe, take care and buh-bye Xx
