Todays Visit

Today I wanted a wee drive, and I thought since it was nice I would head to Largs.

I have been to Largs a while ago but never really walked around it properly, my last visit was to get the ferry over to Millport.

After a nice wee walk about I headed here to check it out as I spotted it when I was looking at the nearby restaurants on my Apple Maps.

On approach I was wondering if I was heading into the correct building, as part of me felt I was heading into an old folks' home....but!!! that all changed when I went inside.

How lovely was this place! It had a great atmosphere, and the views were amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't sit at the window but I could still get a great view of the sea.

The Food

The menu was very good, and had many options I wanted to try but I chose to and this is what I opted for.

Battered Chicken Bites £5.50
Tossed with salad 'n' chilli with sweet chilli dipping sauce

On arrival, this looked and smelled good, and I couldn't wait to dig right in.

I took a bit on its own and WOW this was really really good!

The coating had a nice crispness to it, the chicken was mega tender and the flavour was amazing! I was very very surprised at how good this was, and I could have easily had another portion.

Highly recommended!!!!

Fish and Chips £12.95
fresh fillet of haddock in beer batter or breadcrumbs served with salad, tartar sauce, a lemon wedge and chips.

After my walk in Largs and seeing all the fish and chips and smelling them along the seafront, I had to order it for my dinner.

On arrival, this looked good and smelled really good!

I started with the chips and they were nice, I did get the option for skinny or thick cut and I love skinny fries....no salt needed as they were very nice.

Now for the fish...I took a bite and mmm this was cooked perfectly and the batter was lovey.

I didn't find one bone and enjoyed this very much!

Visit Overall

This was a great wee find and one I will visit again.

I enjoyed everything from start to finish tonight, plus the view was amazing.

I am adding it to my top places page, so do check it out if you are in the area.
