The last visit to Charcoals I was acting as a judge, this was a hard task for me as I have known Muhammad for a long time, but I put my judge cap on and did the judging fairly.
I wanted to return after the results whatever they were as I do like a wee Charcoals visit.
Today I brought a new friend to check out Charcoals as we had both been at the gym and worked up a good appetite.

The Food
I wanted either a curry or a biriyani. I don't know why they were what I felt like but it's the only two dishes that popped into my mind.
Lamb Chops Tandoori Tender Chops cooked over Charcoal.
While waiting for my main Muhammad was kind enough to bring us a wee extra dish and it was these Lamb Chops.
I have had these here before and wow very very good.
I took a bite and mmm the flavour exploded in my mouth, the lamb was very tender and it was an amazing bite....well every bite! it was so good!
If you visit Charcoals you need to check these out of your a lamb fan and let me know what you think.

Chicken Biryani £14.95 A popular Mixed Rice Dish with Chicken.
I have been out with a friend a lot this year and she has always felt like grabbing a biriyani, and I think that's why I am now fancying these more and more recently.
I spotted Charcoals did them so I had to order one.
On arrival, this was a MASSIVE portion! and after the lovely lamb chops, I knew I would be up for a challenge to finish this...if I didn't I would take it home for the next day.
Everywhere I have had this dish they do it their own way, and serve a curry sauce or a raita sauce on the side.
This was packed with flavour, it was very tasty and very nice, adding the side sauce was also very nice but did take away some of the amazing flavours from the biriyani.
I love a biriyani with both the curry sauce or Raita, but on its own it's such a great dish.
I really liked it tonight and would easily have it again here.

Visit Overall
It was nice to be back again and try a new dish here for me.
I left feeling very full, but I enjoyed the meal very much and the lamb chops stole the show tonight for me.
