Good Friday afternoon, everybody 🙂 I hope you've had a fantastic week this week! For today's food for thought, I would like to share/remind you about something that I posted a few weeks ago. Find somewhere comfortable, and settle in for a good read 🙂

A few weeks ago, I posted here about an online campaign called Pay Fair For My Care. It's basically a call to action in order to help caregivers in the Healthcare field get paid more for their hard work. Most of you know that I require around the clock care. Over the years, I have seen firsthand that it's very important to have good caregivers. One way to ensure that is to make sure that the caregivers are able to financially support themselves in order to help others. As of right now, caregivers are being paid around ten dollars per hour. In my opinion, that pay rate needs to be raised. My caregivers make it so that I'm able to live independently, and without them, I would be bedridden. I rely on them for just about everything. With the exception of paying my bills online, I need help from someone. I take that back, I couldn't even do that. in order to pay my bills, I need access to the Internet, and to access the Internet, my computer needs to be turned on. I'm unable to turn my computer on by myself, I need someone to turn it on for me Do you see where I'm going with this??? It is VITAL to have someone with me at all times. I have to depend on my caregivers, and it's difficult to do that when they are not financially stable.
