The MapWorld girls had the opportunity for a get-together today because the 2 girls who no longer live in Christchurch were in town.
As a member of the Oxford Club (Original Sin, Fat Freddy's Drop, Kong and a few other places), I received an email a couple of weeks ago alerting me to the fact, that if we dined before 6, our meals would receive a 50% discount.
Sounded like a perfect place to dine. We arrived early for drinks and then dined, finishing about 6.30.
Two of the girls had pizza and 1 had steak and I had fish.
My fish was great - there were olives combined with the gropher and prawns. It was a delicious combination. The steak was good too. One of the pizzas sounded like it was a bit tasteless, and the promise of white anchovy on it didn't appear to eventuate.
