The Visit

My parents were given a wee gift voucher, so I thought I would tag along and also be the driver for the visit.

The Food

A lot of items on the menu looked and sounded very nice.

Today I felt like having a big burger, and to see how here did them.

Birnam Burger £18
Double patty, cheddar cheese, cured bacon, dill pickle, lettuce tomato, skin on fries

My mouth instantly started watering as soon as this arrived, as it smelled really good and looked very good!

I started with the chips.

These had a perfect crunch, and perfectly salted and I could have just had more and more and more of these...so good!!!

No on to the burger...

I took a massive bite and instantly was blown away!!

This was packed with great flavours, the burger very tender and melted in my mouth and along with he bacon and cheese etc

I loved every bite and could have easily downed a second as I didn't feel bloated after this....which tells me it was good quality and very fresh!

"Hot Chocolate" Cookie £3.00

This sounded very interesting and I had to order it to see what it was like.

The cookies was a nice big size, and looked very nice. It had a hint of cinnamon coming off it, and I couldnt wait to take a bite.

I took a bite and it was very nice, it had a nice crunch to it...it wasn't too hard or too soft just a nice consistency.

The closer you go to the centre and the cream the softer the cookie got, which for me was really good as it got a lot sweeter.

Overall :

It was lovevly to be back, as its a nice relaxing hotel and cafe.

Todays food was really good, and I would drive all this way again just for the burger!
