Restaurant Gordon Ramsey

The food here is perfection. With a focus on French cuisine it is not over complicated trying to push culinary boundaries therefore jeopardising its quality. The interior is elegant and sophisticated with a subtle atmosphere and the staff throughout are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. It is highly priced (especially on the alcohol front) but it isn't your everyday meal and you more than get what you pay for. They provide a ramp on arrival for wheelchair access.

Le Gavroche

This is possibly our favourite fine dining restaurant in London. One of the main reasons is the fact that the food is consistently excellent. The cheese soufflé and cheese board are a must. The staff on arrival are professional yet friendly and personable and this continues throughout the whole meal with every member of the team. This restaurant does come with a price tag but when you know you're getting consistent top quality food it's a price worth paying. The wheelchair access is via a side entrance with a lift taking you down to the restaurant.

Dinner by Heston

We all know that Heston likes to do things a bit different and Dinner is no exception. Here he combines food with history, for example the 'meat fruit' dating back as far as the 1300s - a chicken liver parfait made to look like a mandarin. Although seen as 'gimmicky', attention is still applied to plating precision and food quality. Situated inside the Mandarin Oriental it is very different to entering your typical restaurant and it is very casual and relaxed once inside so many will argue it doesn't warrant its 2 Michelin stars. We however like the fact that it isn't pretentious yet offers the same service and quality.

Cut

It is almost becoming an age old question of where or what is the best steak? Enter Cut into the discussion. We would normally start with the food (the most important thing to us) but the service was impeccable and the sommelier the best we've had, letting us try various wines before choosing one. The steaks themselves are exquisite from their USDA to the Australian and Japanese wagyu. The 'tasting of New York sirloin' is a great way to try them all. The sides are amazing and the desserts, if you can fit them in, are HUGE and delicious. For such a renowned restaurant there is an unpretentious vibe.

Savoy Grill

The Savoy comes with high expectations so naturally it's signature grill restaurant under Gordon Ramsey's name does too and it lives up to these. One of the best aspects about the savoy is its affordability but yet not compromising on quality. The menu is succinct yet seems to offer something for everybody. It's steeped in history and pays homage to its past with appropriately named food and cocktails. It perfectly and subtly blends its prestigious 'gentry' past with more casual, affordable dining and still fully deserves its reputation.
