Take water, Lucozade, Powerade, any drinks of those sorts, and drink them up. Drinking water will help with hydration and the energy drinks will help with ion balance in your system (which you may have lost through several trips to the toilet, sweating or fever). It also helps with building up your energy levels too.

Tip 2: Consume immune-boosting food

This is a great time to eat healthy food. Pack in vegetables and fruits into your diet (of course, don't over do it!). As well as, the good ol' chicken soup and lemon and honey drinks. For snacks, go light on ones which are oily or spicy. Instead, stick to whole fruits, fruit or nut bars, chocolates or sweets -things like that.

Tip 3: Keep yourself warm

Okay, this one is a given. Wrap yourself up with the cosiest onesie that you have and sleep in peace. Hats are also a good option to use when you're super unwell - the heat escapes mostly from your head. So, it's a great idea to pop one on to keep you feeling warmer.

Tip 4: Take your vitamins and medications

Definitely stock up on cough syrups, paracetamol, daily vitamins and any other medication you need to take. It's easy to forget having your vits, but when you're ill, your body needs them to help you recover sooner. Oh, and, it's always nice to get some sunshine in too - natural vitamin D for you.
