Good Monday afternoon, everyone I hope you all had a great weekend this past weekend. For today's installment, I would like to share something very interesting with you. So, find somewhere comfortable, and settle in for a good read
A couple of weeks ago, I came across an online article on Facebook. The article was posted on the Cerebral Palsy Family Network page. This article explains how Disney World and Disneyland have developed new and improved accommodations for people who have disabilities. Naturally, I was curious about these new accommodations. I clicked on the article, and began to read. According to the article, people with different abilities can now arrange special accommodations in advance of their visit to the theme park. The article also states that, while at the theme park, people have the option to arrange an hour or so in advance to visit attractions. I have been in a situation several times while visiting Disney World where my family and I have had to wait in line at an attraction. It hasn't been a hardship to wait in line, but to be able to schedule a return time, and not have to wait is a very good thing, in my opinion. For people who are autistic, or something of that nature, not having to stand in line at an attraction could be very beneficial for them.
I believe that Disney World and Disneyland are doing the right thing in revamping their procedures at their theme parks. I, for one would be very interested in experiencing the new improvements. According to the article, people can enjoy these improvements starting this month.
If you would like more information on this topic, I'm going to post the link to the article below. It has some great information.
Have a great rest of your day, and I'll be back very soon with more food for thought
