Oreo the guinea pig died this week. She was doing fine, but on Tuesday morning she stopped eating, and then she died that night. She was a senior citizen, so I knew she didn't have much more time, and I'm glad she passed quickly without suffering. I'll miss her cute little face and her happy noises when she got veggies.
Casper is having a hard time on her own, and if that continues I'll probably get her a new friend. I've been giving her a bit of out-of-cage time with Peanut, but that has to be carefully supervised to prevent hanky panky.
