As spooky season officially begins, I thought I'd recommend some excellent reading sounds I've been enjoying. It's a mix of music and ambient noise.
This Haunted Mansion themed video. It's a good mix of instrumental music and background sounds like crows and rain.
Anything Brandon and Derek Fiechter do is understated and fantastic for reading. From creepy carnivals to more standard Halloween fare, I highly recommend anything they do.
If you want to skip the music entirely, I've been very happy with Calmed by Nature's Halloween selections. The haunted house has a fun visual element of a ghost wandering around the screen. There's also the stormy castle.
