This is a cake that dreamed of being a cookie and wished upon a falling star. Not really but it was better than me saying I didn't feel like making a cake. This has the all the goodies - bananas, pineapple, warm spices, all topped with cream cheese frosting. I hope you like it.

Editors Note: Freshly ground spices are the best.

Dry ingredients
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Wet ingredients
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 ripe bananas smashed
1 ounce can pineapple
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup flacked coconut
Frosting
1/2 cup butter softened
1 12 ounce cream cheese softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup pecans to top

Preheat oven to 350.

In bowl one mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.

In bowl 2 cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar until creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat for 2 minutes.

Add bananas and pineapple and mix.

Fold in coconut and pecans

Refrigerate dough for 20 minutes.

Scoop dough on parchment-lined baking sheet in 1 1/2 teaspoon portions.

Bake for 11-14 minutes until brown on the bottom and slightly brown in top.

Frosting:
Mix butter and cream cheese.
Add salt and vanilla and mix.
Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time and beat until smooth.

Frost cookies.

Top with chopped nuts.
