Good afternoon! Today's mid day kratom dose is......

2 teaspoons of Red Maeng Da kratom.

Dinner will be pasta with the Tomato Free Pasta sauce, iced green tea, assorted vitamins and painkillers on the side.

I just tried some of the pasta and sauce.... omg, this is a so good! I only diverged from the recipe in that I added a medium onion and I roasted the beet a little differently. I'm seriously impressed! This is a sauce that I'll be making up in double batches and freezing (only because I don't have the veggies on hand to make it fresh all the time). This is definitely going into my cooking repertoire.

This afternoon was spent roasting the veggies for the sauce, waiting for them to be done..... I dozed off a few times, the rest of the time, I was on TikTok, hearing people complain about this and that. For some odd reason, I feel sore and sleepy. The first time I make anything that uses a recipe, I always feel apprehensive because I'm afraid that I'm going to screw it up and waste the food (that never really does happen.... ). I understand why I feel that way... there's a few recipes that I want to try... one uses tofu and makes vegan cream cheese, which is something that I've been wanting to try. And actually, this new sauce that I made today might help me with one thing that I've been wanting to try....home made pizza rolls. This sauce would be perfect!
