Good morning! Today's first kratom dose of the day is.....
2 teaspoons of Green Thai and 2 teaspoons of White Maeng Da kratom.
Breakfast was half a peanut butter sandwich with a handful of Tex Mex trail mix, iced green tea, assorted vitamins and painkillers on the side.
Yeah, I didn't sleep all that great last night but I was awake and reluctantly ready to face the day around 8:30 am ish. I wish I could have stayed in bed and just dozed but.... things to do and all that jazz......
Heidi seems to be okay this morning. I"m hoping that that carries through the day for her. Being almost 18 years old (88 in human years!!), that's impressive by any means. It's painful to see her walking around.... I know her arthritis is bothering her. Joe finally got her to take the Glucosamine supplement treats so hopefully, those are helping her now.
One pic that I forgot to share yesterday.....
I only planted the beans to see if pole beans would do well in a grow bag or not so I'd know what to do next year. If I plant sunflowers and corn, I won't need poles or grow bags at all for the beans or peas. I'm pretty much writing off the peas for this year. All I need to do is watch my spacing when I plant the corn/sunflowers so I can plant the beans/peas in a way where I have room to grab the beans and, later, when I plant the zucchini (acts as a weed barrier) and possibly some kind of winter squash too (more weed barrier).
The more I think about it, the more I feel that the herbs/leafy greens will benefit from being in grow bags (started way earlier than this year!!) and the veggies like zucchini, beans, peas and such will do better in the ground. As of right now, I'm thinking that keeping the peppers in the grow bag will work out just fine. And yes, I'm very much going to let one pepper stay on the plant to the point of going bad so the seeds can mature properly.
