Happy Caturday, friends! This week, Armani learned how to take his cone off, so we decided to just watch him really carefully and let him have a break. It turns out he has learned how to groom around the Libre site without hurting himself. What a smart, good boy!
He looks so proud of himself!
The vet agreed that we should respect Armani's boundary that he does not want any more Libres right now, so we are going to keep him on his current insulin dose for a few weeks and then do a blood draw. Right now he is on the lowest dose, and we are so hopeful that the blood draw will show that he is in remission with his diabetes, or that he can manage with the special diet alone and not need shots every day anymore.
No more pokes plz
I'm back to the office two days a week now, and Armani is Not A Fan. He really prefers that I work from home so that he can join me whenever he wants. Who wouldn't want a cat joining their therapy session?

I'm seriously considering pitching a children's book about Armani's diabetes treatment to help kids who have a hard time taking their medicine. Especially now that he's heading towards remission, it could be a source of hope. What do you think?
Halo I luv u
Armani is a touch frustrated with me at the moment because we have suspended his Balcony Time due to air quality alerts. He wants to go outside so badly, but we need to protect his lungs. I'm not convinced the inside air is that much better, but it's really the only thing we can do right now.
Here's hoping the wildfires get taken care of quickly!
