Good Friday afternoon everyone 🙂 I can't believe it's the Fourth of July already! It seems as if Christmas was just yesterday. Today, I would like to do something very special in honor of Independence Day. So, sit back, and settle in for a good read 🙂

In the year 1776, America became an independent nation. The Declaration of Independence was created by a group of gentleman who believed that this country would be better off being a democratic nation. This upcoming weekend, our country celebrates its 245th birthday. We, as a nation have grown since then, and we continue to grow to this day. A great amount of time and sacrifice have been put forth into this country's growth. I, for one am very humbled and grateful to be an American. Even though this country is not perfect, I have faith in our leaders to assist in getting America to a better place. I believe that with Independence Day coming up, we, as a society should celebrate the fact that we are a free nation, and be thankful for the great minds of the gentleman who wrote the Declaration of Independence.

I know this year is going to be a bit different from years past due to the pandemic, but I sincerely hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, but I'm sure it will be wonderful.
