Our theme is how our Ontario Chardonnay stacks up against our old world inspiration.    Round 1: Cremant de Jura vs Traditional Method Sparkling Zero Dosage Domaine Baud Blanc de Blanc Cremant du Jura Brut Leaning Post Traditional Method Sparkling Zero Dosage Round 2: Chablis vs Unoaked Chardonnay Domanine de Mauperthuis Goutte de Lune Chablis Burgundy France  Leaning Post The Fifty Chardonnay Round 3: Italy vs Canada Kellerei Bozen Chardonnay, Alto Adige Leaning Post Senchuk Vineyard Chardonnay   The rounds will have individual food pairing samples – oysters, cheese pairings, shrimp with aioli, and popcorn – that will match stunningly. The session will be led by Leaning Post Winemaker Ilya Senchuk and Sommelier Nadia Senchuk, as well as Sommelier Ian Thresher from Nicholas Pearce Wines. Two time slots available: 1:00pm and 3:00pm $75 per person / $65 per Leaning Post wine club member. Social distancing and safety measures will be provided to ensure a safe and amazing event.
