Good morning! Today's first kratom dose of the day (and the month!) is....
2 teaspoons of Green Maeng DA and White Bali kratom.
Breakfast was half a peanut butter sandwich with some Tex Mex trail mix thrown in, assorted vitamins and painkillers on the side.
Needless to say, I didn't sleep much last night. I haven't even bothered to check the app on my phone.... there's no point because I think I dozed off in bed while sitting up and after that, I was up. I tried in vain to grab some more rest and after failing miserably, I got up for the day around 7 am.
To tell you how out of it I was when I actually went to bed, I forgot to take my pepto and the weirdest thing is, I didn't need it. To add to the weird, I was eating the 'evil' train mix late into the night, of course, chased with water all the way.
After I got up, I ended up standing in the bathroom for a while and I just started cleaning. In my mind, I just wanted to tidy up the bathroom so it would be ready for Neve when she comes home. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
Of all the times that there ever was a word that described me, today it's 'discombobulated'. I realize that a lot of that is just because of a whole lot of sleepless and nearly sleepless nights. But, even taking into consideration that I was bare bones tired yesterday and how hot it was, the whole idea that Callie bit Neve just blows my mind over and over. Some might say that it could have been just about any of the other cats but Callie has always had a Proverbial axe to grind with Neve for some reason. That's one reason why we've had to be so careful with her (Neve), keeping her segregated from the other cats most of the time. If it was just that some of the other cats were pissing Neve off, that's one thing. Callie seemed intent on hurting Neve, even if it was under the guise of playing.
This was taken a few weeks ago, courtesy of Joe. Even old and frail, she's still a pretty girl.
I'm trying to keep a positive frame of mind today but being exhausted doesn't help at all. I know I'll probably lay down here in a bit, maybe after starting a load of towels. That's not just an excuse to clean the towels that got bloody yesterday.... I seem to need dish towels more and more often lately. I used to have enough to last me all week and now, it seems like I'm running out mid week. Now is the time that I wish I had a rigid heddle loom so I could crank out a whole bunch. . Why yes, add this to the heap of things on my 'things to make before you give up the 'ghost'..... said tongue deeply in cheek.
I guess that's enough for now. I'll be back later to gripe more about being tired and overworked..... kidding.
