Good Friday afternoon everyone
I hope you all have had a great week this week. For today's blog post, I would like to share a recent experience with you. Find a comfortable spot, and settle in for a good read
On May 14th, I had the extreme pleasure of attending my mother's retirement party. For those who don't know, my mother has been a teacher for twenty-two years for the Brevard County School District. My Mom has been a terrific school teacher, in my opinion. She has dedicated several, several years to educating the young minds of today's society. For seventeen of those twenty-two years, Mom has taught at our local high school. She has been a highly respected teacher by her fellow teachers and colleagues. I was reminded at her retirement party of how much Mom is loved and respected by everyone she has encountered over the years. Listening to everyone celebrate Mom's career accomplishments was like a baum to my soul. I've known for a very, very long time that my mother is destined to do wonderful things in her life. It was fantastic to hear that other people agree with me on that front. I loved every minute of the retirement party, especially Mom's speech. It was epic! Lol
To conclude today's installment, I would like to speak directly to my mother. Mom, you should already know this, but I'm going to tell you anyway. I'm very, very proud of you for your career accomplishments. You have done wonderful things with your career, and I couldn't be happier for you! I have watched you doing what you love for many years now, and I still get butterflies seeing you in action. Lol
It's been a joy to watch you conquer your goals. Congratulations on a fantastic teaching career! I love you very, very, very much
Enjoy the rest your day and weekend, everyone. I'll be back very soon with more food for thought
