Taco Bell has opened in Green Square, Sydney. The chain first arrived to Aus in 2017 with stores already in NSW in Blacktown, Jesmond, Albion Park and Ballina.
To everyone's surprise I've never actually had Taco Bell until now! But the opening in Green Square, local to us, meant we could easily pay this place a visit.
It was very busy so we waited out front, checked in and made our order via the touch screen. Food was ready pretty fast!
The venue is pretty hip with some cool art, bench seating, neon lights and even pick your own music from the playlist.
It's a fast food store, so it's pretty cheap and sizes are pretty small. But the food was quite good!
We tried the cheesy double decker taco which is the best of both taco worlds! It is a grilled flatbread (ie soft taco), covered with melted two-cheese blend and wrapped around a crunchy taco with your choice of protein, we opted for beef and topped with zesty ranch, crisp lettuce and cheese.
We also ordered some soft burritos with chicken, sour cream, tomato, shredded lettuce and cheese. We got it as a meal, and the chips were fantastic, seasoned with their famous Mexican seasoning.
