Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog or even here in general if you're new! (I'll try keep my cool 😅😰🤪). Are you looking forward to the weekend? ✨ Alternatively are you like me in thinking it's hard to tell the difference between them and weekdays in general!? 🤯 I try to differentiate the two but unless I go out of my way to acknowledge it, it seems to be Monday all over again 🤣. I'm now fully vaccinated as of this Tuesday just gone by!! 🎉 It feels like only yesterday I wrote about it coming up in this post when I returned from my blogging break and now it's done! Time is so darn weird but I'm very much glad it's happened now.

Anyway, today there is a MAHOOSIVE dose of aesthetics coming your way! 😲 (Or at least I think so, I'm quite proud of these pictures 😅). Summer is underway, ignoring these rainy last 48hrs (they're to be expected!) and so far there have been some gems that I know will stay with me forever! (It helps that I took photos of them to enable that because my brain is like a sieve 😂). Lately I've captured fragments in time that bring back a host of memories absent of painful flare-ups and I've been so excited to share them with you and have a lil natter about what is going on in them. "Favourite photos so far" is a tongue twister if there ever was one! (Try say it 10 times....if you can do it then try 20, not getting away that easy! 🤣).

Okay so for quite a lot of these I used the Light Leak IV filter on Instagram which projects a dreamy rainbow over the image because it kind of mirrors the magic I felt at the time, enjoy! (I say that like it's a 4 course meal or something 🙈😂).

  • This was sooo good in the moment but we all felt a bit sick later on 😂. Went for cola but got blue fanta and my teeth probably hated me for it.
S'mores are a thing of beauty!! I love getting the marshmallow all golden and toasty + then it melts on the chocolate biscuits 🤤. This Summer has been my first time making them since we got a BBQ last week and up till then had a makeshift mini firepit and I'm loving it so much! (For father's day we used it and had a really great time, I was dishing out those s'mores left, right and center cause apparently I have skills in getting it perfect so that it is all fluffy and delicious (I'll wear that badge with honour!)
  • Random but I like it! The sky was my muse 😂
I'm convinced we have our own Burren landscape in the garden (a small scale mud version of it anyway 🤣). It'll do until I can one day visit County Clare to see the real deal! 😍
I'm a bit obsessed with buying earrings on Etsy 😅. These two beauties are both from Manueline Boutique who I'd highly recommend!

I popped some croissants in the oven to crisp up and they were lovely with strawberries! (The berries go bad very fast so it's my duty to eat the majority of them! That's my story and I'm sticking to it 🤣). I ended up burning the next two croissants I had because I forgot they were in the oven but at least I didn't do that to these ones and got to enjoy some!
  • It's not Summer without Coca Cola, especially on the warmest of days! 🙌
  • We only saw the stickers afterwards! Shows you need more moments like this when the glasses aren't even new but have that still on them 🤣
My sister got alcohol free prosecco: Nosecco and to be honest the taste reminded me of what I used to drink at concerts so it was a nostalgia tipple 😂✨

Selfies are a cause for celebration, they're rarities! 😂 I tried to make a top out of this dress for the moment by tying it back. Also, I really like my new haircut! I will say tho, it's longer on one side...thanks mum 😂💗.

This is my kinda Summer and it was so much fun to put this post together/relive these moments. I hope the rest of the season is just as amazing, if not better! Bad days come and go, they're there but if anything that just makes me want to savour the good times 💫. What is your favourite thing to do in Summer?
