Good morning! Today's first kratom dose of the day is.....

2 teaspoons of Super Green Malay and 2 teaspoons of White Maeng Da kratom.

Breakfast was a whole peanut butter sandwich with iced green tea, assorted vitamins and painkillers on the side.

For a change, I had a really good night's sleep last night. It took me a while to trust my stomach enough to lay down but once I was able to sort of relax, I was able to sleep. I don't remember getting up for anything this morning. The only thing I really remember is that I was sweating a lot last night, enough that I'm considering changing my sheets and blankets. I'm usually able to wear the same night gown for more than a few nights and I rarely wake up drenched in sweat but this morning was different. I actually had to put my night gown in the hamper to be washed.

It was weird too because I usually wake up feeling good when I sleep well but I just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep but as soon as I looked at the clock, Anxiety was banging on me so I got up. It was 8 am anyway so I probably wouldn't have stayed in bed very long anyway. The longer I've been up, the worse my headache has gotten, which isn't normal either. But, I've been outside to check on the plants and they're all doing pretty good. I think the parsley and sage could probably do better in a sunnier location because they seem to be growing more slowly than everything else. I wish I had a raised bed to put all the herbs in.... that way I could just plant huge amounts of all the herbs that I want. If wishes were ponies, I'd have a herd.....

The peppers are really taking off! I can't wait to see flowers on them!

Considering that those peppers were raised from seeds that I took from supermarket cubanelle peppers from Walmart, yeah, I'm pretty happy with them. If they breed true to what they came from (not 100% sure of that), I'll harvest some more and save them for next year.

Oregano! I'm so pleased with these herbs, how they've filled out their pot the way that they have.

I hadn't really doubted that the oregano wouldn't take off the way that it has but it's nice to see that it has. I'm trying to remember not to throw out the empty herb jars that I had gotten from the store so I can have a place to store my own dried herbs. I probably should have grown more thyme since their leaves as so small. Speaking of thyme.... that's not taking off as much as I'd like for it to also. I don't want to add any additional fertilizer to the pots because the potting soil has fertilizer already in it. I guess.

So far, the most intensive thing I've done is brushed Callie while Joe cut some matts off her butt. I think Hershey was disappointed that he didn't get brushed. It's supposed to rain again today so there's little that I can do outside. I want to add another seed or 2 to one of the nasturtium pots. In one of the pots, only one seed has germinated. I know it'll probably be fine with just one plant... on this, I will ponder.

I wish my stomach wasn't so iffy on tomatoes. Seeing all those videos of people raising all those different types of tomatoes, especially the heirloom tomatoes makes me wish that I'd try to do that next year.

At any rate, I'm not sure what I'll be doing today, other than changing my bed, making dinner, feeding the cats and possibly vacuuming the carpets. Hopefully, I'll find something interesting to do.

Stay tuned.....
